A lantern boat ride with us costs $6 (150,000 VND) per adult and $4.80 (120,000 VND) per child 1–1.4 m tall, with a minimum of 2 people per booking. The ride lasts 20–30 minutes and leaves from Bach Dang Street Jetty in Hoi An Ancient Town. Boats run daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
You get a private boat for your group (up to 6 people), a local captain, life vests for everyone and 2 flower lanterns to release on the river. Hotel transfers, food and drinks, and travel insurance are not included.

The lanterns look their best after dark, around 7:00–9:00 PM. For the best weather, come between February and May. The Hoi An Full Moon Lantern Festival falls on the 14th of each lunar month and is a spectacular time to visit.
Boats still run in mild rain. Heavy rain is most common from about October to December, so message us on the day if the forecast looks bad. If we have to cancel because of severe weather, you get a full refund or can reschedule.
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your start time, with a full refund. Within 24 hours the booking is non-refundable, but you can reschedule free of charge.
Bring a camera, comfortable shoes and a light jacket, because the river can be cooler than you expect at night.
